Hydrolyze® Review

Does Hydrolyze® really work? While it seems that Hydrolyze® is an effective moisturizer, it may not be the best option in under-eye-treatments because visible results can take 8 weeks, which is much longer than the top products we have reviewed take to produce dramatic results. This review will examine the advantages and disadvantages of Hydrolyze® as well as offer more effective choices to those consumers seeking under eye treatments.

More than likely you’ve seen the commercials or print advertisements touting the effectiveness of the popular under eye treatment called Hydrolyze®. Hydrolyze® is an eye cream designed to significantly reduce the appearance of those unsightly dark circles under the eyes that are a common result of aging. Those dark circles are often the consequence of poor circulation and weakened capillaries underneath the surface of the skin that allow blood to slowly leak out, giving the appearance of bruising or discoloration. Hydrolyze® claims to help strengthen those weakened capillaries as well as reduce the appearance of visible deep wrinkle on the surface of the skin. However, our staff believes that this product is not the best option available for those consumers that suffer from common under eye problems such as the appearance of dark circles.

Advantages of Hydrolyze®

  • Up to a 68% reduction in the appearance of bags under the eyes
  • Contains a proven moisturizer and wrinkle fighter

Disadvantages of Hydrolyze®

  • No clinical trials performed on Hyrdolyze
  • Prohibitive cost – 0.5 oz sells for $80
  • Use of negative billing (“free trial”) practices
  • Results can take up to 8 weeks

The Bottom Line on Hydrolyze® Under Eye Treatment

HydrolyseWhile there are many testimonials available online attesting to the effectiveness of Hydrolyze® to reduce to appearance of dark circles under the eyes, there are also multiple comments concerning the fact that this manufacturer uses a “free trial” marketing campaign in which you are automatically enrolled in a program which ships customers a new supply every month for the full retail price. This marketing method called, often termed “negative billing,” raised some serious concerns about this product.
